Legal Entity Disclosure: Blue Hill Laundry is a registered assumed name and wholly-owned operational brand of Giles Enterprises Inc. All references to "Blue Hill Laundry," "we," "us," or "our" within these Terms and Conditions refer directly to Giles Enterprises Inc.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By dropping off laundry, placing an order, or using any service offered by Blue Hill Laundry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Blue Hill Laundry provides wash/dry/fold, dry cleaning, and related laundry services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our discretion. Service availability, pricing, and turnaround times are subject to change without notice.
3. Orders and Turnaround

Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by volume, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our control.

Customers are responsible for checking pockets and removing all personal items before drop-off. Blue Hill Laundry is not responsible for items left in pockets or for damage caused by items left in garments.

Unclaimed orders held for more than 30 days may be donated or disposed of at our discretion.
4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are based on weight, item count, or service type as quoted at intake.

Payment is due at or before pickup. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.

Secure online payment may be offered via a link sent to your phone number on file, processed through Stripe.
5. Garment Care and Liability

We follow care label instructions and use professional judgment in handling all garments.

Blue Hill Laundry is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing wear, manufacturer defects, improper care labeling, or items not suitable for professional cleaning.

In the event of damage caused by our error, our liability is limited to a maximum of ten (10) times the cost of the service performed on the affected item, not to exceed the garment's fair market value.
6. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive automated transactional text messages from Blue Hill Laundry regarding your orders. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by order activity. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. Full details are described in our Privacy Policy above.
7. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hancock County, Maine.
